    Under the general direction of the Equipment/Facilities Maintenance Group Leader, this position keeps buildings in clean and orderly condition to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all employees and visitors.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS

    Requirements of this position include, but are not limited to:

    + Cleaning building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them.

    + Gather and empty refuse.

    + Clean windows, glass partitions, fans, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.

    + Service, clean, and supply restrooms.

    + Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.

    + Office/Conference Rooms/Quality Control Area: Dust and wipe furniture, vacuum/sweep/mop floors, clean common areas, disinfect shared equipment, and restock supplies.

    + Restrooms: Clean and disinfect all fixtures, refill supplies, and manage inventory.

    + Break Rooms/Cafeteria: Sanitize surfaces, clean appliances, and restock supplies.

    + Outdoor Areas: Maintain cleanliness of walkways and loading docks, and clean outdoor furniture. Assist in snow removal and salting in winter months.

    + Special Tasks: Conduct deep cleaning, inspect for safety hazards.

    + Warehouse Area: Sweep floors, organize storage, clean workstations, dust shelving, and disinfect high-touch surfaces.

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

    + Attention to detail

    + Willingness to work as a team leader and team member to achieve the goals and objectives of the company

    + Excellent written and oral communication skills

    + Minimum of 3-5 years related work experience. Previous work in a production environment is required.

    According to the New York Pay Transparency law, pay range for this job is $19.00 - $23.00 / hour. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
