    Overview:

    Westchester Jewish Community Services (WJCS) is the largest community outpatient mental health provider in Westchester County, dedicated to delivering high-quality, compassionate care to individuals of all ages and backgrounds. We are currently seeking a full-time bilingual (English/Spanish) licensed Social Worker to join our school-based mental health team in Yonkers. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact by providing vital mental health services directly within a school setting.

     

    The salary range is $65,000-$75,000, and the position is 12 months per year.

    Responsibilities:

    As a valued member of our team, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

    + Providing direct clinical services to children and families within the school environment.

    + Maintaining accurate case records, completing insurance forms, and handling required statistical and administrative data, including monthly reports and surveys.

    + Building and nurturing collaborative relationships with families, school staff, and other community and county service providers.

    + Performing additional duties as assigned.

    Requirements:

    We are seeking candidates who possess the following qualifications:

    + An MSW and a valid License to practice Social Work in the State of New York.

    + Bilingual Spanish-English proficiency required.

    + Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop effective and collaborative partnerships with school and community partners.
