About this Position Montana Housing strengthens our vibrant communities by supporting access to safe, affordable and sustainable homes for Montanans whose housing needs are not met by the market. Montana Housing assists with buying a home, down payment assistance, mortgage servicing, Reverse Annuity Mortgages, rental housing assistance and multifamily rental development. This position serves as Loan Servicing Specialist for the Board of Housing. This position is responsible for maintaining compliance with state and federal loan servicing requirements and investor policies for mortgage loan servicing. The position is primarily responsible for paying all homeowner insurance premiums, private mortgage insurance, mortgage insurance premiums PMI/MIP, flood, multifamily and force placed insurance to ensure that all loan files are completely documented, and premiums are paid in a timely manner. The position is also responsible to assist in new loan entry, processing accounting transactions, posting daily activity, manage escrow accounts, loss claims and create invoices. This position reports to the Loan Servicing Operations Supervisor and will be assigned a lead area of specialty within the serving team.
