    Description

    The Foreman is responsible to communicate instructions and set expectations for construction crew as well as organize, plan, schedule, and delegate work, labor, and equipment.

    Job Responsibilities

    + Communicate instructions and expectations to construction crews.

    + Assist in the organization, planning, scheduling, and delegation of work, labor, and equipment .

    + Manage crew on visual checks and maintenance, quality of work, and production.

    + Communicate equipment needs and coordinate clean-up after job is completed.

    + Assist in all project cost control.

    + Assist with measurement tools being used on the project.

    + Properly use cost codes.

    + Review, understand, and adhere to all employee contracts.

    + Maintain insurable driving record.

    + Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental requirements.

    + Other duties as assigned.

    Education and Certificates

     

    + High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

    Physical Requirements

    + Ability to perform manual labor and move at least 50 pounds.
