Job Description
Position Purpose:
Responsible for the administration, maintenance, and communication of all customer accounts within a region to include pricing, regulatory information, waste characterizations, contract specifications, manifests and schedules, resolving invoice discrepancies, etc. to insure accuracy of customers and/or Veolia personnel inquiries. Assists other operations or related personnel in securing new business as well as maintaining and monitoring existing customer base.
Primary Duties /Responsibilities:
+ Answer all customer inquiries on a variety of issues pertaining to waste disposal options, pricing, profiling, contracts, and regulations efficiently and effectively.
+ Train and monitor support staff.
+ Specific account management as assigned by Operations and/or Sales Manager
+ Review all incoming waste profile sheets for accuracy and forward to appropriate destination indicating disposal methodologies for approval and resolve any discrepancies.
+ Assist support staff in finding options for disposal of wastes.
+ Develop and maintain a working knowledge of various product lines and disposal options.
+ Develop and maintain open lines of communication with other offices within the VES groups.
+ Review for accuracy a variety of information into the appropriate system programs to include profile information, approval decisions, certificates of disposal and/or destruction and confirmation letters.
+ Respond to problem calls with respect to waste pickup and scheduling by informing appropriate personnel with dates, customer, and scheduling data.
+ Communicate with customers, project managers generators, contractors ect., with regard to site information and schedules
+ Review and monitor aging, gather information from support staff to resolve current problem account issues.
+ Notify support staff and superiors of unresolved issues
+ Review receiving packets for accurate product coding data and confirm codes to match contracted pricing. Notifies customers of discrepancies in weights counts, ect. Modify pricing information if incorrect on system.
+ Develop and maintain an open line of communication with transportation and operations to resolve issues as they happen.
+ Monitor, record, and review information from support staff as it relates to companies that have not done business in a specific time frame.
+ Oversee sales calls on established customers to provide additional services or maintain current customer base.
+ Act as liaison with customers and Veolia personnel in determining existing contract specifications, pricing, options, regulations, etc. to better service customer needs.
+ Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education / Experience / Background:
+ High School diploma or GED required
+ BS in Business or related discipline preferred
+ 2 to 4 years of related work experience preferred
+ Prior work experience of 1-2 years in a supervisory capacity preferred
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
+ Extensive knowledge in communications
+ Computer proficiency with Microsoft Suite
+ Strong team player
+ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
+ People management skills as related to assignment and task deadlines
+ Time management: the ability to organize and manage multiple deadlines
+ Attention to detail
+ Strong customer orientation
Required Certification / Licenses / Training:
+ Drivers license required
