• Senior Full Stack Developer

    The Role:

    Cognizant is seeking an experienced and innovative Senior Full Stack Java Developer to support our global portfolio of clients. The ideal candidate thrives in cross-functional, distributed teams, brings hands-on technical expertise, and proactively drives architectural solutions. You will design, develop, and support enterprise-grade software leveraging modern technologies like Spring Boot, Angular, and Microservices.

    Work Authorization

    • Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship (H-1B, L-1B, L-1A, etc.)

    Must Have Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree

    • At least 5 years of software engineering experience

    • Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot or NodeJS/Typescript

    • Strong understanding of the applicable package managers (maven & npm), REST API development

    • Strong understanding MySQL (Generally AWS RDS)

    • Proficiency in AWS CDK/Lambda/S3

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including client engagement capabilities

    Nice to Have Qualifications:

    • AWS Aurora, Mongo Atlas

    • Working knowledge of the AWS ecosystem

    Salary and Other Compensation:

    The annual salary for this position is between 97,000 - 114,000 K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

     

    This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
