    About the Role

     

    We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead with 12 to 16 years of experience in Java technologies and Springboot Microservices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java Fullstack development Java REST Web API and Java Design Patterns. Experience in Cards & Payments or Asset & Wealth Management is a plus. The role is hybrid with day shifts and requires no travel.

    In this role, you will:

    • Lead the design and development of robust Springboot Microservices applications to enhance business processes.

    • Oversee the implementation of Java REST Web API to ensure seamless integration with existing systems.

    • Provide technical expertise in Java Threading and Java Collection to optimize application performance.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality Java Fullstack solutions.

    • Develop and maintain Java Design Patterns to ensure code reusability and efficiency.

    • Utilize Core Java and Java 17 to build scalable and maintainable software solutions.

    What you need to have

    • Possess extensive experience in Springboot Microservices and Java Fullstack development.

    • Demonstrate proficiency in Java REST Web API and Java Design Patterns.

    • Have a strong understanding of Java Threading and Java Collection.

    • Experience with Java 17 and Core Java is essential.

    • Advanced JavaScript skills are required.

    • Experience in Cards & Payments or Asset & Wealth Management is a plus.

    Salary and Other Compensation

     

    The annual salary for this position is between $115,000 - $145,000 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

     

    This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
