Overview
The Data Architect will design and implement enterprise data solutions using Microsoft Fabric and Azure Databricks for integration with other transactional applications. This role will focus on creating scalable data architecture that enables seamless data flow for our analytics platform. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in modern data architecture, with specific experience in Microsoft's data platform and Delta Lake architecture.

Responsibilities
Overall Responsibilities:
+ Design and develop a robust data architecture that supports the organization's data needs, including data lake and data warehouse components
+ Maintain and update existing architecture based on business needs
+ Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business users to understand their requirements and translate them into technical solutions
+ Ability to help with data analysis and data flow across the applications and systems
+ Leverage Azure and Fabric services to build scalable and cost-effective data solutions
+ Experience creating conceptual, logical, and physical data models
+ Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and optimized for performance while adhering to company compliance and governance policies.
+ Ability to compare alternative approaches to meet objectives
+ Ability to work across technical and non-technical teams
+ Must possess good organizational, decision-making, and logical troubleshooting skills
+ Experience with working in a fast-paced and changing environment
Collaboration and technical solutioning:
+ Collaborate with internal team on day-to-day activity of the application across clouds
+ Own and deliver technical solution for different initiatives and projects
+ Work with other technical leads to troubleshoot support issues and design any new solution
+ Support integration and data flow across different application
+ Understand the data requirements of a transaction and the system
Qualifications
What You'll Bring:
Education & Experience** **:
+ Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
+ 2-4 Years Experience in Data Architecture framework components – Integration, Data Management and Data Consumption.
+ Proficiency in Azure Databricks and Microsoft Fabric
+ Exposure to deploying data pipelines via Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
+ Strong understanding of the business processes, architecture, and data models
+ Working knowledge of Power BI for reporting, semantic model design, and DAX is a plus
+ Exposure to Microsoft Purview for data quality, lineage, and compliance is a plus
+ 2-4 years of Agile development experience
+ Ability to learn new data frameworks and bring forward industry best practices
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
+ Strong knowledge of Microsoft Fabric components (Lakehouse, Dataflows, Pipelines, etc.)
+ Proficient with Azure services: Synapse, Data Factory, Data Lake Storage, SQL DB, etc.
+ Exposure to deploying data pipelines via Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
+ Azure Data Engineer Associate certification is a plus
Competencies** **:
+ Experience designing and implementing data pipelines for extraction, transformation, and loading from diverse sources
+ Familiarity with both batch and real-time data processing
+ Proactive and effective problem-solving capabilities to handle potentially complex problems and resolve conflicts
+ Must be self-motivated with an ability to balance multiple projects under tight deadlines
+ Ability to rapidly adapt and respond to frequent changes in environment, priorities, and deadlines
+ Experience working in a team-orientated, collaborative environment
+ Experience with significant cultural, organizational, and business process change efforts
**Communications** :
+ Ability to define communication plans and execute effectively with other Panasonic staff, key customers, executive and project management staff
+ Strong communication (written and verbal) and negotiation skills to effectively communicate with all levels of personnel up to executive level both internally and within customer/supplier organizations.
Other Requirements:
+ Travel Requirement: 10 % travel to various locations in North America to meet with IT team or onsite for project execution. During large scale projects, the percentage could fluctuate. Adherence to corporate travel and entertainment policy is required.
+ Must be able to grasp data requirements and system processing
+ Decision making skills based on available information

The salary range below is just one component of Panasonic Connect's total package. Actual compensation varies depending on the individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. This role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses and incentives.
Salary Range
$80,000 - $110,000 Plus Bonus REQ-152196
