The Shipping Coordinator is responsible for overseeing daily shipping operations to ensure timely and accurate processing of outgoing shipments. This role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal departments, carriers, and customer service.

MAIN DUTIES:

+ Coordinate., schedule, and monitor daily outgoing shipments to meet customer and company timelines

+ Prepare shipping documents such as bills of lading, packing lists, shipping labels, and customs paperwork (if applicable)

+ Communicate with carriers (UPS, FedEx, freight, etc.) to arrange pickups, resolve issues, and track deliveries

+ Communicate effectively with leaders across all organizational levels

+ Verify and inspect outgoing shipments for accuracy, packaging quality, and order completeness

+ Maintain accurate shipping records in inventory or ERP systems

+ Collaborate with Customer Service, Warehouse, Production, and Quality departments to resolve shipping discrepancies, address delivery concerns, and manage return processes in a timely and efficient manner

+ Ensure compliance with shipping regulations and company policies

+ Monitor inventory levels of shipping supplies and request replenishment as needed

+ Support warehouse functions such as receiving and order fulfillment when necessary

+ Participate in periodic audits and assist with continuous process improvements

+ Assist with customer service tasks as needed

+ Crosstrain in all warehouse functions
