    JOB OVERVIEW:

    We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support a project focused on transitioning and streamlining accounting operations related to cash postings and reconciliations across multiple regions. This role will have a strong emphasis on manual reconciliation processes and month-end cash posting. This position is for a leading organization within the healthcare industry.

    JOB DUTIES:

    + Work through a significant backlog of reconciliations while maintaining current reconciliation tasks.

    + Support the transition of accounting responsibilities from existing team members.

    + Perform cash postings for multiple regions during month-end close.

    + Manually reconcile posted cash transactions to bank statements.

    + Pull and validate posted data to ensure accuracy and completeness.

    + Prepare and enter recurring and non-recurring journal entries.

    + Reconcile general ledger accounts and journal entries.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Must Have:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.

    + Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and other advanced functions.

    + 2–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in cash posting or reconciliation roles.

    + High attention to detail and ability to manage repetitive, manual tasks.

    + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    + Ability to work independently and manage shifting priorities in a project-based environment.

    + Experience working with organizations handling at least $1M in transactions.

    Nice to Have:

    + Experience with Lawson or similar ERP systems.

    + Familiarity with bank reconciliations and month-end close processes.

    + Exposure to accounting systems and tools (e.g., ERP systems, Epic).

    + Experience working across multiple regions or business units.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
