• Staff Accountant

    Aston Carter (Minneapolis, MN)


    Responsibilities:

    + Post journal entries and account reconciliations.

    + Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.

    + Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure the accuracy of financial data.

    + Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries.

    + Analyze financial data and trends to support business decisions.

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Inventory.

    + Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports.

    + Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies.

    Qualifications:

    + Proficiency in accounting and general ledger management.

    + Experience with reconciliation and month-end processes.

    + Strong skills in journal entry and financial reporting.

    + Knowledge of GAAP standards.

    + Understanding of accounts payable and receivable.

    + 1+ years of accounting experience.

    + Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.

    + ERP knowledge, particularly SAP.

    + Proficiency in Excel, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $28.85 - $36.06/hr.
