Job Title: Environmental ProfessionalJob Description

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Professional (EP) to perform Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) in accordance with ASTM E-1527-21. This role involves site reconnaissance, regulatory research, and technical report preparation for commercial and residential properties.

Responsibilities

+ Perform and prepare Phase I ESAs in accordance with ASTM E-1527-21.

+ Conduct records review, site reconnaissance, and identify Recognized Environmental Conditions (RECs), Business Environmental Risks (BERs), and non-scope items.

+ Conduct interviews and investigate regulatory listings.

+ Evaluate environmental compliance.

+ Manage research, field activities, and report preparation.

+ Develop conclusions and recommendations.

+ Interpret data and prepare technical reports.

Essential Skills

+ Bachelor’s degree in geology, environmental science, engineering, or related field.

+ 5+ years performing Phase I ESAs.

+ Must meet the definition of an Environmental Professional per 40 CFR §312.10(b).

+ Experience with equity purchase and lender Phase I ESAs.

+ Proficiency in report writing and environmental compliance.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Knowledge of environmental remediation and investigations.

+ Experience with site inspection and environmental assessments.

+ Understanding of Environmental Assessments (EA) and Environmental Impact Statements (EIS).

Work Environment

This position involves 85% office work and 15% fieldwork for site visits. The organization provides a dynamic work environment with opportunities to collaborate on projects nationwide and internationally, including the US territories, the Caribbean, Canada, Mexico, and Europe. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $40.87/hr.
