Responsibilities

Job Summary

+ The incumbent is a technical caregiver who provides care to patients via therapeutic use of self, the environment/instrumentations, and other health care team members, under the oversight of a Medical Director/Physician.

+ The incumbent may perform a variety of direct and indirect patient care duties/activities.

Qualifications

Experience, Education Licensure & Special Skills

+ One year recent outpatient experience in a medical environment required

+ LVN license required

+ BLS-CPR; LPN:CA with intravenous therapy and blood withdrawal certified

+ Verbal and written communication skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite required

Overview

Mercy Medical Center Mt. Shasta is a member of the Dignity Health system of health care providers and is a not-for-profit medical facility. We are designated as a 25 bed Critical Access Hospital and are accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health care Organizations. In addition to our acute care hospital we also own and operate three Rural Health Clinics providing walk-in immediate care as well as scheduled appointments for routine medical needs.

We are located in the northernmost area of California and are part of a network of care, including Mercy Medical Center Redding and St. Elizabeth Community Hospital in Red Bluff. Pay Range

$33.94 - $39.13 /hour
