Job Title: ProgrammerJob Description
We are seeking a skilled programmer proficient in utilizing the latest SolidWorks 3D solid modeling software for fixture and tooling design. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of GD & T and the ability to create or modify CNC programs for manufacturing purposes. This role involves supporting the development and introduction of new products into manufacturing, developing routings using the current ERP system, and designing work holding and cutting tool technology to enhance machine performance.
Responsibilities
+ Utilize SolidWorks 3D solid modeling software for fixture and tooling design.
+ Create or modify CNC programs for manufacturing processes.
+ Support the development and introduction of new products into manufacturing.
+ Develop routings using the current ERP system.
+ Design work holding and cutting tool technology to improve machine performance.
+ Provide support in developing new CNC machine tool requirements.
+ Work closely with operators and engineers to troubleshoot CNC programs and machining operations.
+ Support new capital projects.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in SolidWorks and/or MasterCAM.
+ Experience in machining and fabrication.
+ 2+ years of experience with a 2-year degree in Engineering or similar, or 5+ years with no degree.
+ Ability to utilize Microsoft Office programs such as Word and Excel.
+ Proficiency with the latest Mastercam CAM software for CNC program creation and verification.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Self-starter with the ability and desire to continuously improve skills.
Work Environment
This position is for the 2nd shift with working hours from 3 PM to 1 AM or 1 PM to 11 PM, Monday through Thursday. The role reports to the ME and Engineering Manager.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $34.00/hr.
