    Job Title: Civil Designer

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled Civil Designer to join our team. You will gather and assemble technical data from various sources to develop comprehensive engineering plans for design and construction. You will have the opportunity to work on diverse projects and collaborate with engineers or scientists to ensure project success.

    Responsibilities

    + Gather and assemble technical data to develop engineering plans for design and construction.

    + Develop engineering plan sets, including site layouts, mass grading plans, construction details, plans and profiles, cross sections, and earthwork volume calculations using AutoCAD Civil3D.

    + Create survey point lists, alignments, and earthwork surfaces for field construction purposes.

    + Develop as-built documentation drawings and ensure accuracy and completeness in drawings.

    + Create 2D and 3D renderings when required.

    + Assist with the development and maintenance of CAD standards.

    + Coordinate work with other drafters or CAD designers within the region.

    + Assist with the integration of CAD with other technology solutions such as GIS, drones, and AI.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in Civil3D and AutoCAD.

    + Experience in landfill design and stormwater management.

    + Bachelor's or associate's degree in civil, geological, environmental engineering, or a related field.

    + Minimum 5 years of experience in Civil3D.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Knowledge of integrating CAD with GIS, drones, and AI.

    Work Environment

    The work environment is collaborative and innovative, involving the use of advanced technologies such as GIS, drones, and AI. You will work closely with engineers, scientists, and other CAD designers to achieve project goals. Standard business hours apply.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $38.00/hr.
