Description

This Client is seeking commissioning engineer with a mechanical background that has experience within datacenters markets and able to help carry out project assignments.  Experience working within the following vertical markets: Hospitals, Large / Complex Facilities and Mission Critical Facilities (data centers, telecommunications, or disaster recovery sites)  Participate in daily commissioning activity meetings which services include: • Equipment pre-start-up procedures; Development of standard operating procedures (SOP's) and Methods of Procedures (MOPs); Comprehensive Commissioning documentation; • Prepare commissioning test procedures and reports • Develop and maintain commissioning logs, equipment checklist, and other tools to track commissioning projects • Write comprehensive reports which include the following sections: recommendations for optimizing building operations, functional checklists, list of deficiencies, equipment operation and maintenance manuals • Review design criteria, specifications, drawings, equipment submittals, and other documentation pertinent to commissioning • Develop and administer functional tests for various systems, such as mechanical central chilled water plants, packaged rooftop units, boilers, chillers, computer room air conditioning units, fire protection systems, etc. • Integrated system testing; Building management system testing; Compilation of all testing procedure results

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in the Electrical Mission Critical Field  Bachelor's / Associates Degree as an Mechanical Engineer a plus  A/E experience working in complex facilities or mission-critical projects a big plus  Good communication skills, Interface with clients, contractors, equipment vendors, and owners agents as needed; Execute project assignments; Interface with project contractors, vendors, and testing technicians; Interact with all facets of the company: engineering, design, etc  Experience with IEEE procedures and protocols a plus  Possess basic knowledge of system design  Commissioning certification or PE  OSHA 10/30 certification a plus

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $180000.00/yr.

401k match, 1099 support, travel stipends, travel covered, bonus, overtime
