• Staff Environmental Scientist

    Position Summary

    As a Staff Scientist, you will be instrumental in conducting environmental fieldwork and assessments to identify and address potential environmental risks. This role involves hands-on sampling of soil, groundwater, and soil vapor, as well as performing Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) and surveys for asbestos-containing materials (ACM) and lead-based paint (LBP). You’ll also contribute to report writing and data analysis to support project evaluations.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Perform field sampling of soil, groundwater, and soil vapor.

    + Conduct Phase I Environmental Site Assessments to evaluate potential environmental liabilities.

    + Carry out ACM and LBP surveys to detect hazardous materials.

    + Prepare detailed technical reports, data tables, and drawings based on field and lab results.

    + Collaborate with project teams to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards.

    Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Geology, or a related discipline.

    + At least 4 years of experience in environmental consulting.

    + Familiarity with environmental regulations and best practices.

    + Strong skills in data collection, analysis, and technical writing.

    + Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

    + Willingness to travel, primarily within southeastern Wisconsin and northern Illinois, with occasional overnight stays.

    + Job Type: Full-time

    + Salary Range:$60,000 – $70,000 per year

    + Location Requirement: Based in Milwaukee, WI

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $80000.00/hr.
