Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for fulfilling work orders issued by the Facilities Manager. These work orders will include tasks such as light drywall repair, light electrical repair, basic plumbing or HVAC troubleshooting, general custodial duties, and cosmetic repair. The properties primarily consist of medical offices and commercial/corporate offices.

Responsibilities

+ Fulfill work orders sent out by the Facilities Manager.

+ Conduct light drywall and electrical repairs.

+ Perform basic plumbing and HVAC troubleshooting.

+ Execute general custodial duties and cosmetic repairs.

+ Interface professionally with corporate customers.

Essential Skills

+ Facilities maintenance experience.

+ Building maintenance knowledge.

+ Basic trades knowledge and experience.

+ Ability to interface professionally with corporate customers.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in HVAC service.

+ Knowledge of preventive and planned maintenance.

+ Skills in carpentry, plumbing, and painting.

+ Proficiency in drywall, light carpentry, and electrical work.

+ Competency in custodial duties.

Work Environment

The work environment includes commercial offices located in Downtown Rochester, specifically at Innovation Square, One East Ave, The Met, and Seneca Building. The shift is from 7:30 am to 4 pm.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rochester, New York.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
