Job Description
We are seeking skilled painters to join our team for interior painting projects in school facilities. This position involves preparing surfaces and applying new coats of paint with precision and care. This is a fast-paced, time-sensitive role that demands efficiency and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
+ Strip old paint from walls using scrapers and putty knives.
+ Prepare surfaces by caulking cracks, filling holes, and smoothing imperfections.
+ Protect surrounding areas using tarps, drop cloths, and painter’s tape to ensure clean, precise work.
+ Apply new coats of paint using brushes and rollers, ensuring even coverage and a professional finish.
+ Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the project.
+ Work efficiently to meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in painting techniques, including brushing, rolling, and cutting in.
+ Experience with paint preparation, sanding, and caulking.
+ Ability to use spray guns, airless sprayers, and HPLV equipment.
+ Prior experience in residential, commercial, or institutional painting.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Candidates must provide their own tools, including brushes, rollers, extension poles, putty knives, scrapers, and caulk guns.

Work Environment
Work Monday through Sunday from 6am to 6pm, with 11.5 paid hours each day, including two paid 15-minute breaks and a 30-minute unpaid lunch. The work environment is challenging, with no AC, but cool rooms are available for breaks. As this is a closed site, you must stay on the property during work hours.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
