Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Manager
Job Description
We are seeking a Facilities Maintenance Manager to support a growing cosmetic manufacturing operation. The ideal candidate will oversee the maintenance of the facility, ensure efficient operations, and lead a team responsible for maintaining equipment and machinery.
Responsibilities
+ Coach, counsel, and manage the performance of a team of around 15-20 direct reports.
+ Inspect the facility for issues and ensure grounds are maintained.
+ Prepare work schedules, assign tasks, and oversee the work product of employees while minimizing overtime and call-in hours.
+ Develop and maintain a Preventive Maintenance Schedule program for equipment and machinery via HIPPO.
+ Implement and facilitate training programs for maintenance personnel and machine operators.
+ Collaborate with Process Engineers and other departments to design and implement projects for machinery updates and efficiency improvements.
+ Arrange for and manage third-party contractor support as needed.
+ Maintain inventory of critical parts and tooling.
+ Prepare and communicate reports on completed repairs, preventive maintenance work, and associated costs.
+ Prepare budgets and secure estimates and cost quotes as necessary.
+ Enforce safety, quality, and housekeeping practices, including Lock Out Tag Out, GMP, Food Safety, and Food Defense.
+ Analyze and design lean manufacturing cells using effective systems and advanced tools to optimize space, equipment, materials, and personnel.
+ Assist in developing plant layout for better utilization of space, equipment, and operations.
+ Work closely with research and development, quality assurance, and maintenance personnel to prevent product and tooling/fixture issues.
+ Ensure all manufacturing safety regulatory policies and procedures are implemented and maintained.
+ Stay informed about new manufacturing technologies and equipment to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
+ Support all current and new product introductions.
+ Lead the implementation of preventive and progressive maintenance tools.
+ Determine and eliminate root causes and reduce occurrences in the manufacturing process.
+ Drive improvements through breakdown analysis and root cause investigation.
+ Assist in reducing costs through product/material re-engineering.
+ Participate in vendor/subcontractor evaluation for consideration.
Essential Skills
+ Minimum of 7 years of experience in a consumer packaged goods company or equivalent field.
+ Minimum of 4-5 years of experience leading and managing a team of 4-5 employees.
+ Minimum of 2-3 years of experience with PLC and mechanical troubleshooting, Siemens or related systems.
+ Minimum of 1 year of experience in HVAC.
+ Experience providing technical training to mechanical staff.
+ Track record of understanding and impacting the drivers of product and labor cost variances.
+ FDA or cGMP experience.
+ CMMS experience (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Facilities maintenance and supervision experience.
+ Experience with HVAC repairs.
+ Experience with electrical, preventive maintenance, plumbing, and maintenance repair.
+ Knowledge in maintenance management and FDA compliance.

Work Environment
Work in office, production floor, and warehouse environments during the 1st shift from 9am to 5pm, Monday through Friday. Occasionally, you may need to be on call to address any escalation issues.
Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of West Palm Beach, Florida.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
