Warehouse Labor

2nd Shift $18/HR

Hours: 3:00 PM – Midnight

Responsibilities

+ Operate machines involved in the production, cutting, and tempering process of glass.

+ Load glass into machines and read order tickets for accurate measurements.

+ Assist in warehouse operations including shipping and receiving of products.

+ Operate forklifts and overhead cranes (training provided for cranes).

+ Unload glass from semi-trucks and store it in vertical contraptions.

+ Prepare glass for the IG line using an overhead crane to lay glass flat.

+ Load finished glass products into semi-trucks for shipping.

+ Manually move windows between vertical and horizontal positions, handling units up to 75 lbs.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in machine operation, production, or assembly.

+ Ability to consistently lift glass and handle heavy lifting.

+ Manufacturing or production experience.

+ Mechanical inclination, such as experience working on cars.

+ Proficiency in using hand and power tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Forklift experience is beneficial but not required.

+ Experience with overhead cranes is a plus, but training will be provided.

+ General labor experience with heavy lifting of glass panels.

+ Prior experience in manufacturing is advantageous.

+ Candidates with good job tenure of one year or more are preferred.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr.
