Job Title: Boiler Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Boiler Operator to join a dynamic team in a university setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in logging readings in log books, inspecting worksites for potential issues, and providing excellent customer service during site visits.

Responsibilities

+ Conduct visual safety inspections of the boiler area.

+ Document pressure and temperature readings accurately.

+ Visit the boiler room to record data in log books and log sheets.

+ Provide customer service during site visits on campus.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in boiler operations and maintenance.

+ NJ Blue Seal boiler license.

+ Ability to monitor boiler functions and perform maintenance.

+ Proficiency in mechanical and preventive maintenance tasks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience as a Stationary Engineer.

+ Knowledge of compressor systems.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newark, New Jersey.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr.
