Job Title: Inventory Specialist/Material Handler

Essential Functions, Key Tasks, & Responsibilities

+ Maintain accurate control and location of stock movement.

+ Inventory cycle process and count process.

+ Use handheld scanner and desktop computer to record material movements in the ERP system.

+ Assist in daily disbursement of raw material to the manufacturing floor.

+ Maintain FIFO (First-In-First-Out) and accurate cycle counts.

+ Responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and orderly workplace.

+ Understanding and complying with quality policy, procedures and instructions to ensure product quality, customer satisfaction, attainment of business goals and environmental well-being.

+ Available to load and unload truck shipments as needed.

+ Available to work overtime as needed to support production requirements.

Overview:

+ Manufacturing facility working in the Warehouse Department (climate controlled)

+ Shifts Available:

+ Monday - Friday (must be able to work Saturdays)

+ 1st Shift 5am-3:30pm ($18/hr)

+ Location: Tallahassee, FL

This is a Contract-to-Hire position - benefits, 401k, and weekly pay available while on contract

Qualifications:

+ 2+ years Warehouse Experience

+ 1+ years Forklift Experience

+ Handheld scanners/RF Scanners

+ Computer skills/Microsoft Excel experience

+ Ability to lift 50 pounds consistently

+ Experience with warehouse operations loading, unloading, inventory control, cycle counting, order filling, material handling

+ Follow SOP

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.90/hr.
