Job Title: Printing Press Operator
Job Description
A Printing Press Operator with programming expertise is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining printing machines, while also utilizing software and programmable systems to optimize print quality, efficiency, and automation. This role bridges traditional press operation with modern digital and programmable technologies.
Responsibilities
+ Set up and adjust printing press for each job.
+ Load paper, ink, and other materials into the press.
+ Program and adjust press settings using digital interfaces or PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers).
+ Monitor print runs for quality and consistency.
+ Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting.
+ Follow safety and quality control procedures.
+ Collaborate with prepress and finishing teams.
Essential Skills
+ 2+ years experience as a press set up operator.
+ Experience with bindery, printing press, and printing.
+ Mechanical aptitude.
+ Programming experience is a plus.
+ Tape measure/ruler experience required.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Ability to follow and read tickets.
+ Experience with hand and power tools.
+ Ability to work with a small team and train others.
+ Understanding of tape measure and ruler.
+ Flexography experience.
+ Multitasking skills.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
