Job Title: Production Associate, 2nd and 3rd Shift, 18.75+

Job Description

As a Production Associate, you will perform various tasks on the production floor, ensuring all duties are completed safely and efficiently. You will operate industrial sewing equipment and machinery to cut tarps to the appropriate size, set up and adjust machinery between runs, and perform quality checks on finished products. Your role will also include operating and overseeing multiple production lines and maintaining a clean and organized work area throughout your shift.

Responsibilities

+ Perform various tasks on the production floor as required.

+ Complete all job duties in a safe and efficient manner.

+ Operate industrial sewing equipment and machinery to cut tarps to the appropriate size.

+ Set up and make changes to machinery between runs as required.

+ Perform quality checks on finished colors and tarps, inspecting color, size, measurements, and defects.

+ Operate and oversee multiple production lines as required.

+ Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the shift.

Essential Skills

+ Comfortable working on feet in a fast-paced environment.

+ Ability to read a tape measure and use hand and power tools.

+ Basic computer skills.

+ Ability to lift 50 lbs.

+ Proficiency in basic shop math.

+ Ability to multi-task and work independently.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Previous manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required.

+ Experience with packaging, assembly, inspection, packing, hand tools, power tools, forklift, tape measure, CNC.

Work Environment

You will be working in a non-climate-controlled facility with around 125 employees. Safety is a priority, with monthly training provided to ensure protection for all staff. Current openings are available for 2nd and 3rd shifts.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wooster, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.25 - $19.25/hr.
