Job Title: Production Lead
Job Description
As a Production Lead, you will oversee a team of 15-20 general laborers, ensuring that all products are assembled accurately and efficiently. You will utilize your ability to read shop drawings and a tape measure, operate an overhead crane and sit-down forklift, and ensure that tools are supplied to your team. Your role involves making sure the team works safely and efficiently to meet production targets. You will also participate in leadership meetings to relay information and goals to your team. The position involves 30% leadership and management of the team and 70% hands-on work with general labor duties.
Responsibilities
+ Oversee and manage a team of 15-20 general laborers.
+ Ensure accurate and efficient assembly of products.
+ Read and interpret shop drawings and tape measures.
+ Operate overhead cranes and sit-down forklifts.
+ Supply necessary tools to the team.
+ Ensure team safety and efficiency to meet production numbers.
+ Participate in leadership meetings and communicate goals to the team.
+ Perform hands-on general labor duties.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in reading tape measures and shop drawings.
+ Experience with crane operation.
+ Leadership experience of 2+ years in construction or manufacturing.
+ General labor experience in construction.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bilingual skills are a huge plus.

Work Environment
The job requires working the day shift from 6 am to 5 pm, with flexibility needed to stay later if required. The workplace is an outside warehouse where conditions are loud, dirty, and non-climate controlled. Employees will work over 10 hours of overtime weekly, with occasional mandatory Saturday shifts given with three days' notice.

This is a Contract position based out of Charleston, South Carolina.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr.
