Job Title: Ironworker Foreman

Job Description

Join our team as an Ironworker Foreman, where you will lead a team of 6-8 skilled professionals. You will be responsible for reading blueprints and instructing your team on the installation of sheet metal panels, wall cladding, and sheet metal finishing on exterior building panels. Your role will also include providing detailed safety and production reports.

Responsibilities

+ Oversee and manage a team of 6-8 ironworkers.

+ Read and interpret blueprints to guide the installation process.

+ Instruct team members on installing sheet metal panels, wall cladding, and finishing.

+ Provide safety and production reports.

+ Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and quality standards.

Essential Skills

+ 5+ years of experience as a Structural Welder/Ironworker

+ 2+ years of experience in a leadership role

+ Proficient in steel erection and structural steel work

+ Blueprint reading and tape measure skills

+ OSHA 10 certification

+ Experience with sheet metal installation and steel detailing

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ OSHA 30 certification preferred

+ Knowledge of steel girts, specifically z-girt vs. c-girt

Work Environment

This position involves working outdoors and requires comfort with the heat. You will lead a team focused on exterior metal finishing on Pre-Engineered Buildings. Work hours are from 5 am to 2:30 pm, Monday through Saturday, totaling 9-10 hours a day.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Mesa, Arizona.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
