    Electromechanical Assembler – Build the Future of Medical Delivery Drones

    **Location:** South San Francisco, CA

    About the Role

     

    Are you ready to assemble technology that saves lives? We’re looking for a detail-driven **Electromechanical Assembler** to join our cutting-edge manufacturing team. You’ll be hands-on in building avionics systems for drones that deliver critical medical supplies around the world. From PCBA assembly to electronic potting and composite bonding, your craftsmanship will directly impact global healthcare access.

    What You’ll Do

    + Independently perform complex electro-mechanical assembly using schematics, drawings, and instructions

    + Assemble and test avionics components: PCBAs, cable harnesses, integrated modules

    + Apply precision adhesives and bonding techniques for waterproofing and environmental protection

    + Provide real-time feedback to Manufacturing and Quality teams, escalating issues as needed

    + Follow detailed Manufacturing Process Instructions and strict safety protocols

    + Meet tight deadlines and adapt to shifting priorities across multiple projects

    + Accurately record and update production data

    What You Bring

    + 2–3 years of experience in electro-mechanical or manufacturing assembly

    + Proficiency in soldering, PCBA assembly, and using hand/power tools (torque drivers, calipers, drills, etc.)

    + Experience with cable routing, harness integration, and enclosure assembly

    + Knowledge of electronic potting and composite bonding (carbon fiber, epoxies)

    + Ability to read blueprints and follow SOPs

    + Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and proactive mindset

    + Basic computer skills (MacOS or Microsoft)

    Work Environment

    Our facility is divided into four specialized areas:

    + **Front Office** – Coordination and support

    + **The Nest** – Assembly of recovery systems, launch systems, and battery devices

    + **Vehicles Area** – Drone body and wing structure composite work

    + **Logistics** – Final prep and deployment

     

    Each team includes 3–4 assemblers and a dedicated team lead, fostering tight-knit collaboration and technical excellence.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $34.00/hr.
