Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operator

$29-35/hour

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to safely and efficiently operate excavators for excavation, digging, trenching, and grading tasks. You will adhere to safety protocols, conduct routine equipment maintenance, and ensure the quality of excavation work meets project standards.

Responsibilities

+ Safely operate excavators to perform excavation, digging, trenching, and grading tasks according to project plans.

+ Adhere to strict safety protocols and ensure the safety of yourself and your team at all times.

+ Conduct routine equipment maintenance, including inspections, lubrication, and reporting any equipment issues to the maintenance department.

+ Maintain a high level of productivity and efficiency while operating excavators to contribute to project timelines and goals.

+ Ensure the quality of excavation work meets project standards and specifications.

Essential Skills

+ Proven experience as an Excavator - Heavy Equipment Operator in the Power industry.

+ Proficiency in operating and maintaining excavators.

+ Knowledge of construction plans, blueprints, and excavation techniques.

+ Strong commitment to safety and strict adherence to safety protocols.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with heavy equipment operation, including dozers.

+ Familiarity with the construction industry.

Work primarily outdoors from Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $70000.00/yr.
