    Machine Operator

     

    Shift: 5AM-3:30PM

    Responsibilities

    + Learn to safely and efficiently operate various pieces of converting equipment.

    + Apply established quality control procedures effectively.

    + Execute position responsibilities as they pertain to the assigned work center.

    + Read and follow order specification documents.

    + Develop or enhance skill sets consistently.

    + Work effectively with co-workers to achieve company goals and expectations.

    + Follow all company rules and policies.

    + Successfully perform in multiple areas of the converting plant.

    Essential Skills

    + Ability to read and write English.

    + Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn new skills within a standard timeline.

    + Comfortable around heavy equipment in a fast-paced environment.

    + High pace mental and physical performance while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity.

    + Basic math knowledge and ability to read a tape measure.

    + Strong attention to detail.

    + Ability to work overtime.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a very large facility that can get hot in summer and cold in winter. The day shift operates Monday to Thursday with occasional mandatory overtime on Fridays, totaling a 40-hour workweek. The facility houses state-of-the-art machinery, including a 112" Multiflute Corrugator, 62" Single Face Laminator, Rotary Die Cutters, Flexo Folder Gluers, and Specialty Folder Gluers. Employees are expected to adhere to safety standards and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $24.30 - $24.30/hr.
