    Job Title: Material Handler

    Job Description

    The Materials Technician is responsible for receiving, shipping, storing, and distributing raw materials, intermediates, and marketed products in compliance with cGMP and company SOPs.

    Responsibilities

    + Receive items shipped to the warehouse daily, both GMP and Non-GMP, according to SOP.

    + Monitor warehouse supplies and create purchase requisitions as necessary.

    + Distribute materials to applicable departments as needed.

    + Maintain an orderly and clean warehouse environment.

    + Log daily temperatures for the warehouse and freezer area, replacing weekly temperature charts.

    + Safely operate a forklift to move palleted items in and out of the warehouse.

    + Ship materials using major carriers such as FedEx, UPS, DHL, or US Mail.

    + Perform data entry into materials management system.

    + Adhere to all safety procedures, guidelines, and SOPs, including the use of personal protective clothing and equipment.

    + Operate a truck safely to deliver supplies and equipment.

    + Deliver plasma pools to manufacturing.

    + Stock manufacturing area with materials as required.

    + Resolve receipt discrepancies by collaborating with Procurement.

    + Perform data entry into networked systems, including SAP and Microsoft Office.

    + Cycle count inventory as needed and generate cycle count inventory sheets.

    Essential Skills

    + Packing and warehouse experience

    + Material handling and inventory management

    + Picking and cold storage handling

    + Shipping and receiving knowledge

    + Experience with RF scanners and order picking

    + Three to five years of experience in Materials Management, Supply Chain, and Warehousing

    + Ability to work in a freezer environment

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + High school diploma or GED required

    + Education verification required

    + Experience with GMP, SOP, ERP shipping and receiving

    Work Environment

     

    The role is based in a warehouse environment, requiring work in a cold/freezer area. The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 5 PM to 1 AM, with initial training on the first shift during the day (8 AM to 5 PM). Personal protective equipment, including a jacket for freezer work, is provided.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Boca Raton, Florida.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00/hr.
