•Soldering Technician – Contract Project (Solar Battery Packs)

•Location:Grantsville, UT

•Pay:$25+/hr

•️Schedule:Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

We’re looking for experienced Soldering Technicians to support a short-term project focused on solar battery pack assembly and rework. This is a hands-on role that requires precision, technical skill, and a strong understanding of electronic components.

•What You’ll Do:

+ Hand solder electronic components on populated PCBs (through-hole & surface mount)

+ Use soldering irons, hot air rework stations, and other tools for assembly and rework

+ Remove and replace components, adhesives, and coatings (e.g., Form coat)

+ Inspect solder joints and rework areas to ensure quality and IPC compliance

+ Collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues

+ Maintain accurate documentation and follow ESD/safety protocols

•What You Bring:

+ 2–5 years of soldering experience in electronics manufacturing or repair

+ Skilled with hand tools, power tools, and rework techniques

+ Familiarity withIPC-A-610andJ-STD-001(certification preferred; expired certs accepted)

+ IPC-7711 experience is a plus

+ Ability to read schematics, assembly drawings, and work instructions

+ High school diploma or equivalent

•Preferred Backgrounds:

Candidates with experience at companies like TD Williamson, Flextronics, L3 Harris, Stadler, or Computrol are highly encouraged to apply.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
