    Job Title: Header Welder - TIG

    Job Description

    We are seeking experienced TIG welders with a focus on welding box headers for shell and tube heat exchangers and cooling units. While box header welding experience is highly preferred, it is not a requirement. Candidates must be proficient TIG welders with code experience, as structural welding candidates will not be considered.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform TIG welding with code experience, focusing on box headers.

    + Ensure product quality by maintaining less than a 5% X-Ray repair rate.

    + Efficiently fix X-Ray and UT repairs.

    + Read and interpret blueprints for required specifications and dimensions.

    + Self-motivate and work productively with minimal supervision.

    + Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve company goals.

    + Rectify sub-standard welds to ensure product quality.

    + Adapt to work outside of a standard schedule when necessary to complete tasks or projects.

    + Perform basic tasks such as fit-ups when company needs arise.

    + Prioritize safety in all work processes.

    Essential Skills

    + Proven TIG welding experience.

    + Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

    + Proficiency in fixing X-Ray and UT repairs.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Header welding experience preferred.

    + Ability to work night shifts and overtime.

    + Capability to recognize and rectify sub-standard welds.

    Work Environment

     

    This is a heavy manufacturing environment operating 24/7, with a need for night shift welders. The work schedule includes day shifts from 6:00am to 6:00pm, and mandatory night shifts from 6:00pm to 6:00am, Monday through Friday, with current Saturday work requirements.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract position based out of Catoosa, Oklahoma.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
