Machine Operator/ Line Lead $21/hr and Up All Shifts Available!

Job Description

Join our small, passionate brewery dedicated to crafting high-quality adult beverages as a Packaging Lead. This hands-on, detail-oriented position involves overseeing our bottling and packaging operations. You will operate and maintain packing line machinery while leading a team of four production associates to ensure smooth, efficient, and safe production runs.

Responsibilities

+ Operate, monitor, and maintain bottling and packaging line equipment.

+ Perform routine equipment checks and minor maintenance to ensure optimal performance.

+ Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues quickly to minimize downtime.

+ Ensure all products are packaged according to quality and safety standards.

+ Lead and coordinate daily activities of four production associates on the packing line.

+ Assign tasks, manage break schedules, and ensure team productivity.

+ Train new team members on equipment operation, safety protocols, and quality standards.

+ Communicate production goals and updates clearly to the team.

+ Monitor team performance and provide feedback to improve efficiency and morale.

+ Ensure all packaging meets company quality standards and regulatory requirements.

+ Maintain accurate production records and complete shift reports.

+ Uphold safety and sanitation standards in accordance with company policies and industry regulations.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in machine operation and packaging.

+ Experience in preventative maintenance.

+ Inventory management skills.

Work Environment

Enjoy a dynamic work environment with three available shifts: 1st shift (Monday-Friday) 7:00am-3:30pm, 2nd shift (Monday-Friday) 3:00pm-11:30pm, and Weekend Shift (Friday-Sunday) 6:00pm-6:30am. Employees are required to wear personal protective equipment such as eye protection and ear protection.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.25/hr.
