Job Title: Laborer

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated laborer to join our team, specializing in the inspection and repair of concrete pipes. The role involves performing patching and finishing work using hand tools, grinders, and patching materials. Successful candidates will mix and apply concrete or patching compounds to repair damaged areas, assist with form setup, stripping, and cleaning, and operate basic tools and equipment safely and efficiently. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work area and must be comfortable working in outdoor and industrial environments.

Responsibilities

+ Inspect concrete pipes for surface defects and imperfections.

+ Perform patching and finishing work using hand tools, grinders, and patching materials.

+ Mix and apply concrete or patching compounds to repair damaged areas.

+ Assist with form setup, stripping, and cleaning as needed.

+ Operate basic tools and equipment safely and efficiently.

+ Maintain a clean and organized work area.

+ Lift up to 50lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.

+ Work comfortably in outdoor and industrial environments.

Work Environment

This position operates on the 3rd shift, from 2am to 11am, in a non-climate-controlled, loud, and dirty outdoor warehouse setting. The role involves working over 10 hours of overtime per week, with occasional mandatory Saturdays announced with a three-day notice.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Charleston, South Carolina.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $20.00/hr.
