    Food Manufacturing Machine Operator

    + Location: Elgin, Illinois

    + 1st Shift: 5:30 AM - 4:30 PM

    + 2nd Shift: 4:00 PM - 3:30 AM

    Job Description

    Join a dynamic food production team where you'll operate mixing, blending, and high-speed packaging machinery in a clean, bakery-scented facility. Your mission: ensure smooth operations while upholding top-tier safety, quality, and GMP standards.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Set up, operate, and troubleshoot packaging lines and machinery

    + Perform changeovers and adjust machine settings for optimal performance

    + Diagnose mechanical issues, replace parts, and test equipment

    + Monitor product quality and ensure packaging meets company standards

    + Regulate machine speed and flow to maintain efficiency

    + Conduct routine preventive maintenance on equipment and facility systems

    Required Skills

    + 3+ years operating mixing, blending, or packaging machinery

    + Familiarity with **GMP** protocols

    + Proficient in machinery changeovers

    + Spanish-speaking ability preferred

    + Able to lift up to 50 lbs (required for blending roles only)

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
