Sit-Down Forklift Operator Job Description

**Position:** Sit-Down Forklift Operator

**Location:** Jacksonville, FL

**Shift:** 3rd Shift (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM)

**Pay Rate:** $18 - $20 per hour

Responsibilities:

+ Operating a Sit-Down Forklift: Safely and efficiently operate a sit-down forklift to move products and materials within the warehouse.

+ Loading and Unloading: Handle cases of soda, ensuring they are loaded and unloaded accurately and promptly.

+ Wrapping Pallets: Prepare pallets by wrapping them securely to ensure stability during transportation.

+ Order Verification: Verify orders to ensure accuracy and completeness before shipment.

+ Fast-Paced Environment: Thrive in a production setting, maintaining productivity and quality standards.

Qualifications:

+ Previous experience operating a sit-down forklift is preferred.

+ Ability to work the 3rd shift (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM) and every weekend.

+ Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

+ Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

+ Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

+ Experience with RF Scanners and computers.

+ Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.

+ Comfortable working alone and being reliable.

Work Environment:

+ The role involves working in a warehouse environment, which may be hot in the summer and cold in the winter. Candidates should be prepared to work in these conditions and dress appropriately

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
