Forklift Operator

Job Description

Responsibilities

+ Pick orders using paper pick sheets and operate both stand-up reach lifts and sit-down forklifts.

+ Wrap pallets using pallet wrapping machines and use forklifts to load and unload trucks.

+ Participate in a comprehensive training program to ensure safe and knowledgeable forklift operation.

+ Perform cross-trained warehouse functions, including shipping, receiving, and inventory control.

+ Utilize company-specific software for warehouse management tasks.

Essential Skills

+ At least 2 years of warehouse experience.

+ Minimum 1 year of experience operating sit-down forklifts.

+ Ability to lift upwards of 50 lbs safely.

+ Proficiency in reading pick sheets and handling inbound/outbound freight.

+ Strong oral and written communication skills in English.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with RF scanners is a plus.

+ Motivation for career advancement and long-term commitment.

+ Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory management.

Work Environment

Work in a logistics warehouse and distribution center handling sensitive products for the military. The facility operates primarily from 9 AM to 5:30 PM and offers a supportive environment with necessary equipment and technology for efficient operation.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Roseville, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
