• Aircraft Mechanic I

    Akima Technical Solutions (ATS) is looking for an Aircraft Mechanic I to work in Fort Campbell, KY supporting Paint Booth operations.

    Responsibilities

    + Mechanic will prep, clean, mask, and paint aircraft parts and components.

    + This mechanic will work in a loud-noise environment with exhaust fans.

    + Will be using a supply-air hood and full-body Tyvek suit with boots and gloves.

    + Will be required to use hand tools.

    + Will use air-pressured painting equipment.

    + Will be required to be on unit respirator program.

    Qualifications

    + Must be a US citizen

    + Must be able to obtain a secret clearance.

    + Must have own tools / toolbox.

    + Must pass a respirator and hexavalent chromium physical.

    + Must be on unit respirator program.

    + Must be on unit hearing conservation program.

    + Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
