    This role will be responsible for the project management of a campus wide initiative aimed at strengthening CU Boulder's ongoing commitment to student mental health and wellness. This initiative involves a comprehensive campus assessment and will result in a set of recommendations for specific implementation actions and a collaborative plan for assessing impact over time. The goals of the initiative are to strengthen collaborative, comprehensive and effective programs and policies that mitigate risk and promote student flourishing. The Research Project Manager will work in a collaborative role with the project leads and contribute substantively to the organization and design of the project. The Project Manager is responsible for maintaining research timelines, deliverables, documentation, coordination, and design of project materials. This role provides support to high-level stakeholders, including leaders at the Crown Institute and leaders across the CU Boulder campus. This role requires occasional flexibility in work hours, including occasional nights and weekends.

    The Crown Institute's research focuses on practices, programs, and policies that foster wellness among children and youth, families and caregivers, educators, and mental health and health providers. Scholars in multiple fields work together and in partnership with families, teachers, young people, and community members.

     

    What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be

    Research and Evaluation Project Management

    + Develop project plans/project roadmaps, using backwards planning to develop timelines for project milestones based on the project end date

    + Effectively utilize project management materials, processes, and systems, demonstrating a strong understanding of project management best practices.

    + Maintain an Asana board to manage and track progress for the project timeline, deliverables, and action items.

    + Interact with current and/or potential research participants for required research activities, such as participant recruitments, consents, screening, data collection, study participation, and exit interviews

    + Coordinate on the planning and execution of data collection and associated timelines

    + Communicate with internal and external partners on project objectives and timelines

    + Take notes and synthesize action items

    + Work with leadership team to design and execute project activities, such as scheduling and designing meetings, taking meeting minutes, following up with action items, and purchasing necessary project materials

    + Contribute to project planning and development, demonstrating a strong working knowledge of relevant literature

    + Ensure the integrity of data collection and management systems by contributing to aspects of the programming, design, and management of online data collection systems and platforms; conduct ongoing real-time audits and monitoring of data quality to ensure research integrity of project procedures and data collection

    + Prepare and/or organize project documents and materials; develop summary reports including analytic memos, strategic plans, and final reports

    + Participate in Institute-wide activities such as updating Institute databases, communicating study-specific information to teams and leadership, attending Institute meetings and workshops, collaborating with Institute teams (e.g. Communications for website updates, or Outreach for event planning), and contributing to the Institute's culture and values

    + Coordinate and communicate across partners, including campus leadership as well as undergraduate students

    + Bachelor's Degree

    + 5 years of research and project management experience
