    Compensation and Schedule for the Medical Assistant

    Medical Assistant – Full-time, onsite, $20-$23 per hour, Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. Join a great team in a productive environment!

     

    Required Qualifications of the Medical Assistant

     

    - 2+ years of recent medical assistant experience required

     

    - Recent orthopedics experience highly preferred

     

    - Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred

     

    - Orthopedic Tech certification highly preferred

     

    - Medical Assistant diploma or certification required

     

    - High school diploma or GED required

     

    - Must successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screen

     

    Responsibilities of the Medical Assistant

     

    - Room patients and take basic vitals

     

    - Complete patient paperwork

     

    - Conduction front desk duties as needed

     

    - Verify insurance eligibility and benefits

     

    - Help providers with wound care and during examinations, treatments, and procedures

     

    - Orthopedic Tech: perform casting, splinting, traction applications and various soft good applications
