THE POSITION
Columbia, Montour, Snyder and Union County Behavioral Health & Developmental Services is seeking part-time Residential Program Trainee's to join our team of dedicated professionals. Our mission is to participate actively in a community-wide partnership to support our residents in achieving independence and personal development in order to enhance their quality of life. DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Residential Program Trainee, you will provide valuable assistance to individuals in the mental health community residential rehabilitation (CRR) program who are engaged in the recovery process. This is a fulfilling opportunity to learn how to help those with behavioral health and co-occurring challenges, obtain the skills necessary to live independently and integrate into the community. With our training program, you will gain the skills necessary to participate in the development and implementation of individual service plans, counsel clients to effectively process daily stressors, as well as provide guidance regarding educational and vocational responsibilities and personal values. You may also be required to provide transportation for clients as necessary.
Work Schedule and Additional Information:
+ Part-time employment at a 24 hour, 7 days a week Residential Facility
+ Work hours may vary, Sunday - Saturday.
+ Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
+ Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

+ This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.
