    Job Description:

    This job is responsible for providing leadership, technical direction and oversight to a team delivering technology solutions. Key responsibilities of the job are to provide oversight of the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex computer programs, align technical solutions to business objectives, and ensure that coding practices/quality comply with software development standards. Job expectations include conducting multiple software implementations and applying both depth and breadth in knowledge of several technical competencies.

    This .NET Feature Lead role is an opportunity to work in a fast paced, forward looking Advisor Digital Technology (ADT) group that can accelerate any developer’s career as we continue to expand our digital capability footprint, and allows us to always be on the cutting edge of innovation.

     

    ADT is responsible for several Merrill Lynch and Private Banking applications, with over 30,000 Financial Advisors, that help advisors manage their books of business and collaborate with their clients through digital channels. Our Wealth Management Workstation received industry recognition as the #1 Integrated Advisory Technology platform, and won the 2020 AITE Innovation Award for _Digital Engagement Strategy_ regarding Socialize

     

    This App Dev lead role will own design, development, delivery and warrant support of all features on the Agile Scrum team. Partner with Dev Ops/CTO on environment readiness, QA and deployments.

    Responsibilities:

    + Designs, develops and is accountable for feature delivery

    + Applies enterprise standards for solution design, coding and quality

    + Ensures solution meets product acceptance criteria with minimal technical debt

    + Guides the team on work breakdown and execution

    + Works with the Product Owner to ensure that product backlog/requirements are healthy, with clear acceptance criteria

    + Plays a team lead role (as an individual contributor) and mentors the team

    + Guides team members with skills and practices (planning and estimation, peer reviews, and other engineering practices)

    Required Qualifications:

    + Experience level 7 to 10 years in enterprise software development

    + Hands-on experience in ASP.Net, C#, SQL, Web Services, Web API, React, Angular and DB technologies Oracle/SQL development.

    + Knowledge of SharePoint, best practices and building custom widgets and libraries using .Net and Angular.

    + Experience with Ci/CD tool set (Bit bucket/Jenkins/Artifactory/Ansible)

    + Experienced in web design / development, with specific expertise with web- based applications

    + Experience working in an Agile environment, design, build, test, and document web- based applications functionality.

    Desired Qualifications:

    + Experience working on Desktop and Web applications

    + Experience with troubleshooting application issues

    + Knowledge of Application process management, Remedy Tool, Nexus, PCM/PMMT, and estimating & budgeting is a plus

    + Experience with working closely with application stakeholders, testing and deployment teams

    + Experience working in financial industry. Experience from other industry is welcomed as well
