Fire Alarm Service Technician – Commercial Systems

• What You’ll Do

+ Service and maintain commercial fire alarm systems and components.

+ Troubleshoot issues including ground faults, open/short circuits, and both addressable and conventional systems.

+ Use electronic testing devices to ensure system functionality.

+ Interpret blueprints, diagrams, and specifications.

+ Communicate clearly with customers and ensure they understand their systems.

+ Follow all safety regulations and company policies.

What You Bring

Required:

+ 2+ years of experience with commercial fire alarm systems.

+ Strong troubleshooting skills and familiarity with electronic testing tools.

+ Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

+ Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.

+ Willingness to learn and grow with the team.

Preferred:

+ NICET II, III, or IV certification.

+ Experience with Fire Life Safety, Low Voltage, or Security systems.

+ Manufacturer certifications for fire alarm systems.

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

+ Basic understanding of IT/networking.

Physical Requirements

+ Lift and carry up to 50 lbs., push/pull over 75 lbs.

+ Climb ladders up to 12 feet and operate man lifts.

+ Work in varying weather conditions and noisy environments.

+ Use hand/power tools and mobile apps effectively.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
