    As the Director Partner Sales Executive - Worldwide Retail Accounts, you will manage & grow the relationships with 2 key international Retailers and acting as the primary point of contact for their International Teams, being Amazon Global Vendor Management (GVM) & Costco International. The role involves understanding those Retailer business objectives, coordinating activities across regions, and ensuring successful delivery of products and services while collaborating with various internal teams.

     

    Leveraging the Region and Local Market Teams, you will build a comprehensive understanding of each market dynamics, competitors, challenges, opportunities, and strategic priorities. Those insights will support in building a common engagement framework and identify activities, exclusive offers, marketing executions that can scale with relevance across multiple geographies whilst respecting the local channel dynamics and channel hygiene.

     

    This role requires a leader with a broad aperture, who builds trusted relationships, both externally & internally. You will be a source of energy and creates clarity to deliver mutual commercial outcomes for Microsoft and our Partners, all whilst navigating the execution across a virtual team environment.

    Responsibilities

    + Leadership engagement with Amazon GVM & Costco International to build a Partnership Framework that encompasses our respective Strategic priorities.

    + Collaborate with the Region & Local Market Teams to identify WW exclusives, Marketing execution (Search, Discovery, Conversion) and Key Beats (Prime Day, MVM, BTS, Holiday).

    + Advocate with WW Category & Business Groups for globally scalable solutions across Windows, Microsoft Surface and M365 and negotiate the Gives/Gets with Amazon GVM/Costco International to bring those unique offers/solutions to market across their geographic footprint.

    + Partner with WW Categories to advocate with WW OEM, Silicon partners to support collaboration efforts with Amazon GVM & Costco International to deliver differentiated Windows assortment strategy across their respective geographic footprint with a focus on Hero Devices.

    + Establish rhythm of business to engage with both the Region & Local Market Teams to support their Account planning/forecasting, both in the near term and leading into long-range planning with these Partners.

    + Demonstrate collaborative leadership, building consensus & foster teamwork across the matrix of WW, Regional & Local Market Teams.

    Qualifications

    Required/Minimum Qualifications

    + 10+ years partner management, sales, business development, platform ecosystem/network, or partner channel development in the technology industry

    + OR Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering or related field AND 8+ years partner management, sales, business development, platform ecosystem/network, or partner channel development in the technology industry

    + OR equivalent experience.

    + 5+ years experience with planning, budgeting, and other project management activities.

    + 8+ years of experience in a retail sales environment.

    + 8+ years of experience in managing multi-national retail accounts.

    + 8+ years of experience developing Joint Business Plans and Strategies for new business development and product launches.

     

    Partner Account Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $133,000 - $222,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $170,300 - $239,800 per year.
