Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team in a fast paced and challenging area? This is a unique opportunity for you to work in the Card Branded Finance team to partner with the Business to provide support with strategy and financial analysis regarding Chase Sapphire Lounge, Lounge Alternative Space, & High Net Worth finance.
As a Vice President in the Card Branded Finance team, you will collaborate and influence across Finance, Marketing, Business Development, Real Estate, and other functions of the firm. As a strategic partner, you will act with confidence to challenge the business in a meaningful way. This role is a hybrid of strategy, business analysis, and financial management, budgeting and planning. The role requires strong analytical skills, ability to perform detailed financial analysis/reporting and broad "out of the box" strategic thinking.
Job responsibilities
+ Partner with the Line of Business to formulate and drive viable business growth strategies, and set financial targets which are ambitious, achievable and tied to long term goals while continually monitoring performance against goals
+ Provide insightful business financial information to senior leadership and coordinate financial planning and budget/forecast management functions
+ Ensure accurate, secure and timely recording and reporting of business activities, including monthly, quarterly, budgets, forecasts, and other ad-hoc financial analyses
+ Develop and maintain working relationships with other businesses and functional groups to support business growth while balancing the appropriate controls
+ Continue to improve existing processes to provide detailed analysis on the businesses
+ Liaise with a key external strategic partner with strong partnership skills
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
+ Bachelor's Degree and 7+ years in a consumer financial services company, management consultancy or investment bank
+ Relevant experience in finance, financial analysis, and/or accounting
+ Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
+ Creative thought leader, exceptional problem solving and analytical skills with proven ability to conceptualize new ideas
+ Ability to create a clear, simple and compelling vision, develop strategy and communicates in a way that gains engagement at all levels
+ Strong partnership mindset in working cross-functionally to create efficiencies and develop solutions to business problems
+ Ability to synthesize and structure data to tell the story is important along with natural intellectual curiosity and a problem-solving mindset
+ Strong written & verbal communication and presentation skills
+ Ability to tailor messaging and communicate effectively across higher levels of management
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
+ Masters of Business Administration or advanced degree
+ Tableau experience
+ Previous credit card/Payments industry experience
