    Sr. Data Analyst - Project Delivery Specialist - AI & Engineering - AI & Data

    Work you'll do/Responsibilities

     

    Collaborate with cross-functional teams working with Gift Card Data Analytics such as Fraud, Legal, Operations, Product and Business Development to design and implement fraud monitoring solutions and fraud prevention strategies.

     

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Fraud, Legal, Operations, Product and Business Development to design and implement fraud monitoring solutions and fraud prevention strategies.

    + Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies related to gift card fraud.

    + Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that monitors suspicious activities trends.

    + Create and track fraud KPIs to measure the effectiveness of fraud prevention strategies.

    + Proactively identify emerging gift card fraud schemes and develop strategies to mitigate them.

    + Collaborate with other fraud analysts, data scientists, and engineers to develop fraud prevention tools, systems and products.

     

    The Team

     

    As a part of the US Strategy & Analytics Offering Portfolio, the AI & Data offering provides managed AI, Intelligent Automation, and Data DevOps services across the advise-implement-operate spectrum.

    Qualifications

    Required

    + 5+ years in an analytics/data science or equivalent role, ideally with fraud / cybersecurity / financial services or retail industry experience

    + 5+ years experience using SQL/Hadoop, Spark SQL and PySpark/Hadoop Ability to conceive and execute the design of end-to-end scripted analytics solutions

    + Proven proficiency with Python for data manipulation, visualization and process automation

    + Experience in data mining, data visualization tools such as Tableau for full-stack data analysis, insight synthesis and presentation.

    + Collaboration, communication and presentation skills, with the ability to adapt and engage across a variety of audiences. This includes significant written, verbal and data visualization skills to communicate complex quantitative analysis in a clear, detailed, and concise manner.

    + Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience

    + Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.

    + Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

    + Analytical ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks into manageable work products

    + Can operate independently or with minimum supervision

    + Excellent Written and Communication Skills

This compensation range is specific to California and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $107,900 to $179,900.

     

    You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
