Job Description Summary:
Provide process management support for supervisors as well as training. Support the department on development and maintaining processes. Ensure effective communication of Leadership Model, scorecard and process management with team members or appropriate levels of staffing. Understand and communicate customer service goals of organization. Provide process support for the Environmental departmental with measurement techniques to make sure the program is in alignment with the OhioHealth scorecard and values. Support and monitor any of the activities of the Environmental Services Department.

Support the defining and implementing of processes while identifying objectives, resource requirements and barriers within the scope of OhioHealth's goals. When staffing is a barrier, could be necessary to perform some daily Environmental duties.

Monitor tools used in process management such as timelines, action plans, and measurement to include Bed Tracking system reports and data analysis s in accordance with the established objectives.

Perform functions required of the position including educating and training Environmental Service staff and needed training for units/ancillaries, while communicating with supervisors as
appropriate.

Report on process progress to department leadership while identifying need for adjustments based on measurement/performance of process. Uses problem solving skills for identified adjustments to resolve departmental issues and barriers.

Approach, help develop, deploy, and continually maintain department's processes using tools of department.

Monitor and maintain "all" Environmental Services staff while defining objectives, resource requirements and barriers with the scope of OhioHealth's goals. Provide keys and pagers for shifts, does staffing adjustments and performs misc. duties needed. Shifts and days should have fair and equitable attention.

Promote and drive customer service initiative to include service recovery, throughout the organization, as well as assist in the training of all levels of the Environmental Services Staff. Use creative skills to keep a high level of customer service momentum.

Monitor and evaluate work progress of employees while working with departments to meet special needs. Inform leadership staff of improvement opportunities for any staff that has a deficiency. Engage in deployment of all reward and recognition programs with staff.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School or GED (Required)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
16- and 17-year-old individuals without a high school diploma or GED will be considered only if they have a valid work permit.
18-year-old individuals enrolled in high school do not need a high school diploma/GED/work permit to be considered.
HS diploma/GED preferred for individuals over 18 and not in high school.
