    Position Summary:

    Provides leadership, direction, and guidance to the inpatient nursing unit(s).

    Coordinates high quality patient care on assigned unit(s).

    Provides staff support through facilitation, coaching, and role-modeling leadership behaviors, which enhance quality patient care, safety for staff/patients, excellent customer service, and fosters employee development.

    Actively supports the mission, vision, and values of ProMedica Health System. Reports to the Clinical Manager, Nursing Services.

     

    This position will actively support both the Inpatient Adult Trauma Unit and Orthopedic Unit

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

    Education: Bachelor’s Degree required or must be obtained within 3-year time frame. Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

    Skills: Problem-solving, organizational skills, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills. Must be able to function independently and as an integral member of various teams. Must display a commitment to customer satisfaction.

    Years of Experience: Must have a minimum of 1 year in nursing in a patient care area.

    License: Must be an RN with a current licensure in the State of Ohio and/or Michigan Certification: BLS, ACLS

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    Education: Master’s degree
