    Amergis Staffing is partnered with a much-respected school district in New Bedford, MA that is currently seeking qualified Special Education Teachers to assist them on a contractual basis for the 2025–26 school year.

    Details of the position include:

    Position: Inclusion-Based Special Education Teacher (Mild–Moderate & Severe)

     

    Description: We're seeking passionate educators to join inclusive classroom environments within the New Bedford School District. These roles focus on supporting students with diverse needs—mild to severe disabilities—within general education settings, promoting integration and collaborative teaching. Teachers will work closely with general ed staff and support teams to deliver individualized instruction, monitor progress, and contribute to IEP goals.

     

    Classroom models may also include sub-separate and transition settings depending on individual student needs.

     

    Facility Type: Public School District

     

    Start: September 2025

     

    Duration: Through the end of the 2025–2026 school year

     

    Hours: Full-time; schedule varies by location

     

    Pay Rate: $50.00–$60.00 per hour

    Requirements:

    + DESE Licensure in Special Education (Mild/Moderate or Severe)

    + Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field

    + Minimum 1 year of Special Education teaching experience

    + Prior experience in inclusion settings strongly preferred
